Nikki returns to the church, and makes a grim discovery.
X did not go after him, but instead came to the church and killed Mary
himself. Finding Mary dead is a shock so overwhelming he can't deal
with it. He loses control and begins screaming lamentations. He wishes
he knew the peace that Mary now knows; indeed, he wants to join her in
death right there.
The music is dark and foreboding. The voice
jumps from one grievous emotion to another. The first sentence is
in a low, sad voice. The next two are in a screaming, desperate voice.
The last two are in an emploring voice. After the voice finishes,
the lead guitar kicks in, playing music that builds up, in the same desperate,
screaming tone as the middle two sentences.
