"Waiting For 22"
(instrumental)

The music is sad and forlorn, slightly reminiscent of Metallica's "One..."  This effect is enhanced by the clean guitar that plays the rythm.  The lead comes in, consisting of high notes in distortion.  It gives a sense of lamentation; it gives the impression of a person crying.  The songs seems to describe Nikki as he endures the legal process of conviction for the murders, and for Mary's, which he didn't commit, that he commited and being commited to a mental institution.  I get a mental image of a man sitting, hands on his forhead, head bowed, and staring at the ground, perhaps crying.
